Upload Your Statements on the Web

Updated

Uploading

  1. Sign in at app.myfuelsavings.com and select Add data at the top of the page.
  2. Drag your statement PDFs onto the box that says Drag & drop your statements here, or select browse your files to pick them. You can add many at once.
  3. Each file shows its progress as it’s uploaded and read. Most statements take a few seconds each, and a few are read at a time.
  4. When they’re done, you’ll see Upload complete, your total savings so far, and a link to View your dashboard.

Uploading the Same Statement Again

A statement you’ve already uploaded replaces itself rather than being counted twice. Its row says Already imported, no new data, and it doesn’t use up another free statement.

If a File Takes a While

If a row says Taking longer or Still finishing, check dashboard, it’s still being read. Open your dashboard in a few minutes to see it.

If a File Isn’t Accepted

The message on the file’s row says why. The common ones:

  • It doesn’t look like an Open Roads settlement statement. See Where Your Statements Come From for what to upload.
  • It’s an older Open Roads statement. Statements from before Open Roads changed its format in 2024 don’t list gallons, so they can’t be read.
  • It has no readable text. It’s probably a scan or a screenshot. Upload the original PDF instead.
  • It’s too large or has too many pages. Upload each statement on its own.
  • Allowance reached. You’ve used your free statements. See Your Free Statements and Subscribing.
  • Uploads paused. Uploads are paused for a while, sometimes for scheduled maintenance. Your existing statements aren’t affected. Try again later.

If some files fail for another reason, select Retry failed uploads. If one still won’t go through, send us a message.
